No, the quality of the actual headphones is crappy too. I've had Hesh's for 2-3 weeks and the bands already broke. :/

Just out of curiosity, who knows of a quality headphone company that don't simply "charge premium for a cool logo and a fancy paintjob?"

Sort of. The Apple earbuds that come with every iPod are cheap and usually wear out after prolonged use. That's why you usually want to buy a good pair of quality earbuds/headphones to replace the default Apple ones.

I never owned a pair, but I could tell just by looking at them they were style over quality and not worth the money. Like an iPhone!

PS: I made my avatar before I even new what "Skull Candy" was. I just thought it was a cool looking skull and cropped it.

I've been telling my family for years now to stop wasting money buying skull candy headphones every month because they keep breaking and to buy a high quality pair but they are always too cheap. A while ago I got myself a pair of Beats by Dr Dre and they are phenomenal.

Trey, it also would've been good to provide a list of "reliable" companies. Of course you can also head over to our lovely Headphones section and find a lot of good manufacturers there...but for the sake of convenience and because you did mention it there should be a list in here somewhere. I can (at least) start it if you'd like.
