so ive been trying to manually install gba roms....i watched an ipodtouchmaster video about it and got the gba bios and downloaded a game....i extracted both places i needed to extract to get the actual game....then i ssh'd into my ipod and moved the game to private/var/root/Media/ROMs/GBA and it transfered but when i restart springboard and go to gpSPhone it still says i need to upload roms....what am i doing wrong or what can i do to fix this?

    1) what firmware are you running? 2) did you set the permissions?

upload it to /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/GBA/ for version 1.1.3

the folder you used is for software versions 1.1.2 or below.

also if u havent already set the permissions to 777 and using the program winSCP and put in the terminal :
    chown -hR mobile /var/mobile
and add on the folders to the end of that for example /ROMs/GBA etc and that will give permissions to mobile and your sorted also do this to the folders in just var/root/ just too make sure
