Bug fixes I suppose, and there is an improvement in audio quality as well.

Well, if you searched around you'd find the changes in 1.1.2 which include:

    1. The ability to add items to the calendar
    2. The new battery monitor in iTunes
    3. Bug fixes that appear to improve stability/performance
    4. Faster Safari...
    5. Fixing of the TIFF exploit

It's not that hard to upgrade to 1.1.2 -- I just followed the video from http://www.youtube.com/ipodtouchmaster -- took less than 1/2 hour...

    why not

why not upgrade you can always go back to 1.1.1

going back to1.1.1 is as easy as having the flash file.
in windows hold shift key and click update then select flash file location. this leavers all your music and video files on the ipod both ways upgrading and downgrading.
if you want a clean ipod touch then its shift and restore this wipes the ipod totally.

!!! you will have to jailbreak the ipod touch again!!!!

remember when upgrading to 1.1.2 to install oktoprep from the installer or it wont work.

proud owner of ipod touch version 1.1.2
