I just don't see the point. I jailbroke my other iDevices in the past but there were more incentives to do so. With the iPad....not so many.

Well ATM. jailbreak it for Multitasking, Folders,Voice control and basic customisation. Of course when apple releases IOS4 there will be no need for Jailbreak.

4.2 is not going to mean there is no use in jail breaking (believe me, i wish it were so). You will still be able to add countless features via jailbreaking that would simply not be possible without jail breaking. I'm not going to sit here and list all of the cydia apps besides folders, multitasking and basic customization apps, bit trust me, there are thousands of reasons to jailbreak... If you don't miss the advanced functionality that jailbreaking brings, then obviously you don't want or need that advanced functionality. Persoanlly, i couldn't live with my ipad without jailbreaking (or any of my idevices for that matter).

You can always have Sbsettings and then have "close app" which can kind of replace the home button.

I think SBSettings (and therefore jailbreaking) is essential and really should be an official feature, at least being able to toggle Wi-Fi and brightness from within an app.
