I jailbroke my 2G iPod Touch with redsnow 0.7 and it is working good, but I saw that there is redsnow 0.8, is jailbreaking with 0.8 is better than 0.7? I just want to be sure my jailbreak is "up to date".

Redsn0w 0.8 added 3GS support. You don't need to rejailbreak.

Once your iPod is jailbroken, the jailbreak doesn't become inferior to another version of redsnow. Redsnow just gets you jailbroken, and an updated version would just be more stable.

Yeah, but its good to put it into DFU Mode before pressing Next cause the guide just starts the second you press next and its good to follow an actual video tutorial if youre not sure.
