Hey i was just thinking. All u guys r so excited because u think a camera is going to be on the 3rd generation touch because apple is buying a ton of cameras. Well with the new tablet coming maybe u didnt think that the tablet will have a built in camera on the front or back?

it would be different if on the back but apples products always r rn't they?

on the front it could be for webcam or like the camera on the front of imacs?

    just a thought...

No. I really doubt they would have a working model - just the specs. That's probably just a normal second generation Touch.

Well, the camera application on the iPhone wouldn't work on the ipod touch even if it had a camera, due to hardware differences. If that iPod was real, which it probably wasn't, it was just a prototype lacking necessary software.

Oh, so I suppose there is no possible way for Apple to get a camera working in their own product.

but for everyone who says this, why would it drop?
i mean if you didnt want to make calls you would get an ipod touch, its simple as that.
but if you wanted to call people, then you would get the iphone, regardless of what the ipod touch has. i mean if you wanted a phone its none of your concern if an ipod has a camera or not.
and if you got an iphone JUST for a camera... then i would suggest you return it and get a REAL camera.

    Who knows. I'll wait for September. If they aren't making a 3G. I'm buying a new 2G 16GB
