Krypes, better known as the new comer, or fastest package installer, how about potential threat? Or death to your iPod?

Krypes comes with 5 sources, one of them is Sleepers.net, the main source, the creator. Well, Sleepers.net allows you to upload packages without even being moderated, with that in mind, this could be the most dangerous one out there.

There is a certain command that lurks around, that could kill your iPod. I will not say it, some know what it is, DON'T POST HERE. Someone could upload an app with this command and name it like "super cool awesome app". People will download and use, the command will go through, ipods will go bye bye. You can do nothing about it either, this is why Sleepers.net in general, is a horrible source, and why Krypes is a horrible installer.

Do us all a favor, stick with Cydia.

exactly, they need to moderate it more strictly.

Do it, I dare you! Come on man, if someone wanted to make an app with that, they would have done it long ago. Actually I think someone already did. Back on 1.x it had a warning of what it would do though.

If they no how to write an app or a simple script, then chances are they already know that command.

And a restore would fix it. Its already been done and tested.

Its true, but this would harm people because it doesn't have a warning, precious things could be on there

Wait do u mean the one that wipes the whole userland? That doesn't kill your iPod that badly, but a restore sucks. Or is there another command completely?

    btw you spelled "krytpes" wrong.
