    Another of these... *sigh*

Please search, you'll find everything you need to know.

EDIT: OK, maybe not everything. You probably won't find the average air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow.

Jailbreaking gives you access to all sorts of non-apple approved third-party apps. Such as MXTube, DTunes, NES, etc.

Do a search and you'll find tons of info on it.

Honestly, I cannot go back to the standard default non-jailbroken firmware.

I've grown so fond of the customizations, third party apps, and overall fun of a jailbroken ipod touch. Believe me, it is WELL worth jailbreaking, besides, if you're worried about warranty b.s. forget about it, you can put the standard apple firmware back on as a precaution.

Take my word for it, i jailbroke my touch months ago and I've never looked back, wish I discovered it sooner.

jailbreak it and you'll know what I'm talking about after a couple days.

Jailbreak opens all types of stuff.

3rd party apps and games, emulators, such as PS1 emu, GBA, Snes and more.

Themes, there are many themes that you can use.

    and tons more tbh.

I heard that if a newer version of the ipod touch comes out there would be a problem if the ipod has been jailbroken... Is that the case?
