MobileFinder isn't able to edit, create, or move files that are in the root directory of my iPod. I used WinSCP and Right Clicked >> New >> Link and added the Root folder to the Documents folder in the MobileFinder directory, but when in the root part, it doesn't allow me to edit or do any other functions. I can't even move text or folders from the default folders to the root part.

Nope, MobileFinder runs on Mobile privileges, not as the root, so even if it can see the folders, it can do nothing to them.

I just use MobileFinder as an scout, and use Terminal to make changes. It's not hard once you get used to it. If you want some help with Terminal, just PM me.

Hmm... I'm not good with Terminal, and I don't use Cmd Line often on my PC. I'll give you a pm..
