Why is the lock button on the opposite side?

    There haven't been threads about this.

    I mean, why would they change it?
    most iPod touch buyers are upgrading and are used to the lock button on the left side.

    And also, it blocks the camera (if you ever want to lock your device and take a picture at the same time *lolwut?*)

    And also, it gets your hand grease on the camera

    Probably because of the bigger battery. They probably had to move things around internally to make stuff work fine externally. And possibly due to the rearrangement of the Wi-Fi chip. But I really don't know, those are just my thoughts.

    Well it seems kinda weird, but since I got my iPad I've tried to click the lock button on the RIGHT side of my iPod many times. They're not even close to the same size and you can't hold them in the same way, and somehow I'm already used to it being on the right from using it like that on my iPad. I guess it's a good thing for people with any two iDevices.

    the best I can guess is that it just makes the iDevices somewhat more universal as the lock button for all of them is now on the right hand side.
