my music library is pretty large, I have about 20G of music. therefore, i have the "only sync checked songs and playlists" checked in the itunes/ipod summary window.

but when i finish playing a song in iTunes, it automatically skips not to the song below it, but to the NEXT song that is CHECKED.

hope you know what i mean. but why does itunes do that? i have not found any settings that can turn it off or so, and i dont have shuffle or repeat on either.

    here a screenshot:

I have 21,000 items in my library. I know your pain. Unfortunately you are doing it all wrong. Create a playlist of all your checked music, then reselect all your music. Have iTunes only sync over that one playlist.

It's not a very clever feature of iTunes, is it?
    There should be two checkboxes

    "Sync" "Play"

    That would be horrible!
Imagine everything having two checkboxes, to disable songs you'd need to check every item twice!

    I like the current system.
Just create a new playlist and only sync that.
