Ahh, how good it feels to be back for another glorious time in iPod Touches.

I doubt any of you remeber me from the early 2.2.1 jailbreak days when everyone was making ingenoius projects, solutions, tethers, etc...

Anyways I must say the new iPhoneOS 3.0 is impressive.

More responsive, smoother, efficent, and has many new features (some more hidden

    ).

Now my iPod Touch 2G is on 3.0 GM version and I do have some questions.
It seems there are things left over from my 2.2.1 jailbreak days and some rather curious and
    weird things.

How about some pics first though?

Hmm, my name from MakeItMine app on a jailbreak and a new battery numeric level?
    My friend doesn't have either...

As you can see I synced my 27 apps but only default and two new ones while on 3.0
are showing up. I have re-booted btw.

Numeric WiFi in chooser and at the top bar?

I can also touch the WiFi like in a jailbreak to change from numerical to normal. WTF?

So as you can see there are some very weird things going on here.
What are your thoughts on them?

You restored to backed up settings. That is why this is happening.

When you upgrade to a new firmware, some things still stay the same. iTunes only updates what is necessary or what has changed.

Hmmm...very interesting. Its interesting the jailbroken features can be carried over on the restore. But when I update to 3.0 I think I would do a complete new restore.

It's all in your backup. If you "set up as new iPhone" then it won have anything like this
