    Hello,

    I want to ssh "from" the iTouch. Is this possible?
    I seareched around but couldn't find any help.
    I used "term-vt100" and also donwloaded "erica's" utilities.
    But everytime I do something SSH related (like 'ssh' or 'ssh-keygen'), it returns, "You don't exist. Go away!".

    Is there anyway I can SSH from iTouch?

    Thanks a lot.

    to ssh from mobile terminal, you do it just like you would from OS X...

    ssh -l <USERNAME> <IPADDRESS>

    then you wait a few seconds and when it prompts, type the password.

    Well, what are you trying to SSH into? the iPod itself? that's trivial from the start.

    Ok wait... are you trying what they are saying?you

    Do this:

    ssh root@youripod'sipaddress

    by youripodsaddress I mean your iPod's actual IP!

    Thanks guys.

    No I'm not trying to SSH into iPod itself.
    I want to SSH to my server at home.
    The thing is, when I SSH into iPod and then try to SSH to my server, it works.

    Like this:
    PC1->(SSH to iPod)->(SSH to PC2) it works.
    but;
    iPod(SSH from term-vt100)-> you don't exist, Go away!

    Is it something wrong with the term-vt?
    becasue my iPod can SSH.
    I installed many of command line utilities + erica's ports.
    But still no luck.

    even I cannot PING. Gives me " ping: socket: Operation not permitted"
    But I can do CURL.

    Whats wrong?

    Yes.
    BSD subsystem ver.2.1.

    Is term-vt100 the right app to use or there is another way?

    thanks mate.
