I was just wondering if there were any fw2.0 fans out there that wanted to share the benefits that make upgrading to 2.0 a good idea.
the only benefits I've seen are the calculator and the app store. I can get installer and a scientific calculator through it so there must be other benefits I'm missing...

^have you ever heard of the app store? it's pretty cool

and if you don't wanna lose all your 1.1.4 apps then don't upgrade

there isnt any pressure in upgrading.
i think its best you stay on whatever firmware your on.
i remember when i first went to 2.0 i missed all those fun apps from 1.1.4
some of the good ones area slowly being ported.

if anything you should wait a good while

    2.0 Really isnt much..?

I've actually been wondering the same thing.. I'm on 1.1.4 at the moment, have some great apps that aren't in the appstore. As far as i can see.. 2.0 appstore offers a DIFFERENT (not necessarily better) range of apps, and 3G coding for the new iphone. Perhaps more suited to some, however I'm not upgrading at the moment, first I'm waiting for them to iron some of the bugs out at the very least. And i currently have my ipod working just the way i want it to. Unless i'm also missing something incredibly large... 2.0 had 0 useful new features. Jailbroken 1.1.4 offers all that 2.0 can, If not more, in the form of applications that apple don't restrict.
