if it were that simple, we'd have it already. i'm sure there are people trying to figure this one out.

I had a temp solution, but its not great

When you make a webpage, you can throw an if clause in the loading, to see if your on an iphone, if you are, then load your flash as quicktime instead. That means of course you have to know how to use quicktime controllers for flash games and such, and everyone would have to have a quicktime option, but yea... Adobe makes the plugins, and i dont think safari wants one anytime soon.

Heh - 'we' have not 'hacked' anything. Most of us followed a series of simple sfeps

And many of us had considerable trouble even with that ;-) Still - I hope Flash does happen some day... RealAudio and WMA/WMV playback would be nice, too.

well they are in the works of making flash lite 3. Some are saying it is going to be for the iPhone which equals the iPod touch as well. Look it up

I don't have an Ipod Touch but it seems they have a youtube video watcher app. So, they must have flash on the ipod somewhere in the files where you can activate it for safari?

the youtube player is playing videos from a separate h264 video database, not from the flash video database you watch on the website.

edit: moveteam beat me to it
