Why does the iPod stay connected to wifi while charging??
i know right. why does it matter if its on or not
Because it being connected doesn't affect the normal wi-fi time out settings.
Ahem, yeah can any dev chim in for this question
Why do you need a Dev? What does charging have to do with the wifi?
I don't know the term iPodian users use but, when the iPod is connected
thru USB it reconnects to ap from sleep
What? reconnects to AP? from Sleep?
What does charging have to do with Wi-Fi connection, it's just connected to Wi-Fi wireless and it's charging...I don't get your question really...just accept that that's just how it is lol. No reason for it NOT to be connected while charging. It would be kinda of annoying if I wanted to have my iPod plugged in but can only use Wi-Fi when it's unplugged -.-.
When I had f/w 2.2.1
when the pod screen was black assuming it is sleeping
when USB was connected the screen would say indicate that
it was now charging a few minuites later wlan0 on iPod would
be off. The only time it would turn wlan0 on was under two conditions
1.) when user unlocks the screen
2.) I'll leave this blank
The wifi does turn off when the screen is locked.. Nothing changed. o.o
at least, I don't see the wifi continuously on. Even if it is, what's wrong with it not shutting off?
