I'm trying to add artwork to itunes so I can use it on my Touch. IT WONT LET ME ADD THE ARTWORK I HAVE SAVED ON MY COMPUTER!! I have tried every way I found on Google and they didn't work. On my old Zune I never had a problem with any artwork. Also how do I get my Touch to work with Winamp? itunes is such a resourse hog that I'm thinking of switching. There's suppose to be a setting tab for the Touch but I can't find it anywhere in itunes. I have a few other issues with itunes but that's the main one.

    I'm thinking you have Windows.

I have never encountered this on my Mac, and never even hear anyone with this problem on windows. Just download the Artwork from iTunes itself, by finding the song, and just copy the album details word by word, and right click on the song and get album artwork. There you will get clear detailed artwork.

to add your artwork saved on your pc in any graphics format to songs/albums do this:
mark the song or the songs (album) and right click on them then click on "information" (the first one) then choose the tab "Cover" there click "Add..." and choose your artwork file

    and you're DONE

or! if you have an iTunes account you can import the artwork directly from iTunes. That is the way I had it done. You must make sure your album is named correctly though.

iTunes can automatically show album artworks but they're useful only for itunes itself and ipods, because artwork isn't saved into the mp3 file but in your itunes library. If you want you can add custom images for each song from your pc (or drag&drop from google) by clicking information-cover-add..

Wow, you say iTunes sucks because you weren't able to add your own album artwork?

I tried having itunes find my album art but a lot of the stuff is European Techno music and itunes can't find any art for it. If found art work for about half of my stuff.

I want to custom add my artwork but when I click on a song there's no cover tab. There's just an artwork box under the info tab. It allows me to drag a cover there but thats it. It never saves the artwork to the album.
