The reason I don't update on my iPod is coz the apps move to the end page when you do so.

So when I've donwloaded these 4, I have to remember the order I put them in and drag them all back, which pushes other apps backwards some pages and then I have to drag them forwards.

Why is iTunes making life hard?

This happens to everyone. I am frustrated by this too. It's also weird how iTuens says you have no updates. But you really do.

    .

I don't like updating apps on my iPod via appstore either because when i do, it does almost all of it then crashes. Then i have the app there in like a grey colour and untouchable, and the only way to get rid of it is to sync with a computer that has the update.

I think not only does 2.0 need an upgrade... fast. But so does iTunes 7.7.

I'm beginning to think that some of the problems and flakiness attributed to iPhone 2.0 are actually iTunes 7.7. Sure, 2.0's not perfect, but 7.7 is a lot farther from it.

Isn't the lag time attributed to Apple's servers?? Not 2.0 or iTunes 7.7

My iTunes is the opposite. iTunes says all my apps have available updates, and when I try to update one that actually needs an update, it says I haven't purchased it.

But all my apps are in alphabetical order, and I've come up with a technique to move apps from the first page to the last without disturbing others. You just drag it to the next page, keep it aligned with the icons, pull it back, push it to the edge, and repeat for each page. Obviously this is easier done than said.

Ah, glad to see more people without Vista. I think it's an ultimate fail on Microsoft's part. But now I have a MacBook, and haven't gone back ever since.

This happens to me too. It's extremely annoying.
I have an iPhone 3G and an iPod Touch that I sync with the same computer, and it's hell trying to update all the apps.
iTunes will say I have no updates and then I'll check on the phone and it'll say I have x number of updates, so I'll update those and sync them back to iTunes, but then after I sync the Touch, I'll notice it didn't get any updates so I have to manually update those also...
    REAL pain in the ass.
    Hopefully it's fixed soon.
