Why does iTouch automatically play songs?

    This started a while ago, it's really annoying. After I put the songs on pause and turn the screen off, sometimes it just randomly turn on some songs, what's the problem here and how to solve it?

    Is it plugged into headphones or something? If it is then you might be hitting the play button on the remote control ones. I remember one time my speakers would control my iPod Touch if I twisted the cord a bit. :\

    Thanks for your reply. It actually was plugged into the iphone headset and the cords were twisted but I dont get why it automatically triggered the shuffle play option? Anyway, it stopped after I took the cords off

    The song or the problem? Whenever you pull headphones out of an iPod, it stops, so you don't lose your spot.

    For me at least, if it's on replay pulling the headphones out does not work.
