why does everyone call it "ipot"?

    Because an old member and mod named "Nintendodude" first started referring it as that and it stuck.

    It sounds british if said outloud.. I don't really like it being referred by the title of iPot, why not just say the Touch or iPod Touch? But please, not the iTouch..

    Touch is fine and thats what I usually refer to it as....itouch is just well.....its not that bad but for some reason it sort of annoys me as well...

    I just say Touch.

    iTouch just sounds vaguely dirty and a bit lame, like some cheap Asian knockoff.
