    • 802.11b: 11 Megabits or 1.375 Megabytes per second
    • 802.11g: 54 Megabits or 6.75 Megabytes per second.
    • USB 2.0: 480 Megabits or 60 Megabytes per second

So why is it that you want Wireless Syncing if the numbers say its so Dreadfully slow?

I'll never use it if/when it's incorporated. Syncing is slow enough as it is with my USB cable. Plus, I never worry about adding anything at all to my iPod unless I'm at home, and my cable is always at home as well, so that works out pretty conveniently.

Because, it's just another feature that makes life THAT much easier, even if it takes five hours to download one app, when it takes four minutes to walk to the computer and do it.

    I wish USB actually gave 60 MB/sec...
Syncing my apps after a restore takes forever even with USB
I can't imagine what it'd be like wirelessly

    Assuming he wasn't being sarcastic.
So are you saying you'd rather wait 5 hours downloading something , than get up and go to the computer ?

    Just remember , battery life.
5 hours , it'd be dead for sure.
    What does that mean ?
    A trip to the computer.

Not to replacing the cable Tes. Just for music and possible to update genius on the air. Or make wireless syncing an alternative if you lose the cable. That is how I see it.
