Hey Ive got some problems with my ipoT I wanted to try and fix, its a jailbroken 1.1.2. First of all the "dock" application causes ipoT to freeze/start over when I do the startburst menu. Does installing dock manually rather than by installer fix this?
Anyways, dock is uninstalled, also gpsphone crashes when I go from a game back to the rom menu and choose another rom. Anyone else have this problem? And finally NES crashes occasionally, usually when I scrolling thru the roms list or when I change to landscape mode. Ok If somebody could help out that would be great.

DId you try turning off DIM wallpaper in Summerboard?

I know both points have been mentioned, but i wanted to echo:

-Turn "Wallpaper Dim" in SMBPrefs OFF
-Permissions set to 775; if you don't know how to do this, search.

but a quick runthru how to do it:
    1. download/install Cyberduck.app on your Mac (assuming you have a mac)
    2. SSH into your ipod (assuming you have OpenSSH installed on your Touch)
2a. ip address (found in your WiFi settings), username: root, password: alpine
    3. /private/var/root/Library/Applications, right-click and select Info... then set read/write access to (775)
    4. reboot touch
