does anybody know why you cannot make a ps2 app like they make gbphone nesphone and psxphone?
yea... its called the NES had a processing speed of 1.8 MHz. the GBA had a processor speed of 16 MHz, and the PSX had a processor speed of 33.8 MHz. the ipod has a 412 MHz processor. therefore its powerful enough to run such weak systems. as of right now, even very high-end computer have difficulty running a PS2 emulator. the PS2 had a processor speed of 300 MHz with a secondary video card of 120 MHz. that and it was a 128-bit processor, where as the ipod is a 32-bit processor. thats like trying to run PS3 on an AppleII Please Register or Log in to view images

lmao thats the noobiest thing i have ever heard!~!
You could, it just wouldn't play PS2 games.
Jeez... another Ps2 thread... it WON'T work neither will the DS, PSP, Wii, Xbox, Xbox360, Ps3...
Sorry for being a jerk but this topic has been answered countless times.
i wonder how much a device would cost to be able to be handheld and have the processing power to run ps2 and xbox. im perfelcty happy not having ps2 on my touch i like some old classic games
The PS2 has a processor speed of 300 MHz, and most emulation requires about 10x as much power as the original processor, since it needs to emulate it through software, rather than hardware.
This is impossible, sorry to disappoint you.
