What im talking about specificly is the FM Radio Reciever/Transmitter. Why cant the developers make their own app to enable this because i thought JailBreaking already Hijacks the Firmware. So Why cant we take full control?

We simply can't take control of this because as far as the iPhone OS is concerned, it doesn't exist.

Apple needs to create drivers for it, integrate them into iPhone OS, then write an application so we can actually use it

The Bluetooth Chip is capable of it though and they have already unlocked it, why cant we examine it and make our own part of the firmware or extension.

You cant be tellin me it's impossible? is it?

They've unlocked WiFi (b/g) and Bluetooth. Nothing else in the Broadcomm chip.

You can examine it all you like. Pop open your iPod. If you mean examine it via software, the iPhone OS doesn't know that FM radio exists. And I doubt you could get anything else to.

For anyone outside of Apple, yes. Apple will no doubt activate what's unlocked in time, probably when the iPhone gets it.
