Who thinks the new nano actually is running iOS? Is it the whole thing or is is stripped down? Or just the iPod firmware designed to look like iOS?

Personally, I think it is stripped down iOS.

    I don't think it's iOS, I think it's just a mimic of it.

I think iOS would be overkill on the Nano. A hybrid of iPod Firmware and iOS me thinks

It's not exact iOS. It's a copy of the iOS for iPhone and iPods that they made with only the certain apps and pages ect.

Pretty sure. Looks like it the way its used.

did anyone but me notice how they removed a handful of features from it such as a camera. and the ability to play video. I didnt see a video icon in any one of the reviews and it wouldnt be so nice on the extra small screen

It's just a fancy skinned version of the iPod OS

You guys don't really know if it is iOS or not, and it's really not that big of a deal. We get what we get.

There are several threads about this.

Back on topic. It most likely is iOS (or something really similar). I myself wouldn't call it iOS, maybe iOS mini? LOL XD
