id just like to know, how many people actually jailbreak their ipods/iphones and leave them like that?

personally i never leave my iPhone jailbroken more then 3 days (on average) but my ipoT stays jailbroken to get new releases and stuff like that, but the only advantage i see to jailbreaking is SMB (but of course my mind might change when winpwn comes out)

so yeah basically this is do you leave your ipod touch jailbroken longterm or are you like me and restore it because of it being unstable or something like that.

not entirely. like for my iPhone at least after i install a few large apps it slows down terribly, SMS takes forever to send and receive and battery life is significantly worse. yeah if you have an ipod which the majority of the ppl here do... duh, then it makes sense but with the iphone i jailbreak it if theres apps im interested in for the iphone or something huge that came out like customize 2.0 or winpwn

it shouldn't slow it down at all or waste the battery life unless your running a program or have it open...

well it does because on an iPhone theres more programs running then on an ipod touch in the background
