Whenever some says the word "Skullcandy" on this site they get the crap spammed out of them by people saying "Oh man i hate skullies" I was just wondering how many people actually owns/has owned a pair of them.

*Sigh* They are not bad headphones, they are just not the best quality for their price.
It only affects people who notice small details (like me) in particular Audiophiles (eg. thechungster). Audiophiles usually pay up to £200 to satisfy their Headphone needs, whereas I pay around £40.

Anyway, I have had them before, but they all broke.

ill agree that the price is not so good for their quality but i would be scared to use a pair of £200 headphones

    I've owned about 5 skullcandies.

They aren't bad headphones, they just break easily. But there's a lifetime warranty on them so you just get another pair shipped to you if they break.

You should know you should have posted this in the headphones section...
To answer your question, people just bash Skullcandy as much as Bose because other people do it. It happens on head-fi as well.

Because £90 is considered quite expensive.

i owned 2 (death magnetic hesh, recruit) both broke and since we don't get lifetime warranty here they're just trash now. the sound is decent but i'll never buy skullcandy again since my headphones broke 3-4 months after i bought them.
