Right, that's pretty much it. After the boot logo, I get a white screen and the iPod just stays there. I've jailbroken before, so I'm pretty sure this is related to Springboard. This happened after applying the run rs patch. Anything I can do to fix this being only able to enter DFU/Recovery? No, I will not do a full restore. Thanks in advance. I am certain this can be fixed.

EDIT: I could try SSH, but I don't know the iPod's address...

    Try to patch it again?

    try this

clear out your run rs environment variables

    irecovery -s
    setenv rs
    setenv rs1
setenv rs2 ... etc (I think it goes up to rs5)
    save env
    /exit

then DFU, upload any iBSS (211 works), and reenter the environment variables for run rs

No luck. I'm almost sure this is Springboard related. Any way I could return to the default Springboard with only DFU/Recovery mode access?

Nope, but if the iPod actually booted but only shows a white screen, then you can use SSH (if u have it installed) and replace the SpringBoard files with original ones that u find somewhere. or restore lol

I'm not sure if it actually booted, since the boot logo is shown for less than a second. Even if it did, how am I supposed to try SSH if I don't know the address?

If it was a springboard issue you would be stuck at the boot logo.

How many wireless devices do you have in your house? You could just start trying at 192.168.101, 102, 103... etc. Or maybe iPhoneBrowser?

Let me be a little more specific. When I reboot my iPod (serial reboot command, 7 second hard reset, whatever the method), I get in Recovery Mode, which is completely normal, since my iPod is patched for run rs. Now, when I actually execute run rs, the screen goes blank (normal), it turns white, then shows the boot logo, then turns white again (and stays white). I can't SSH, I can't use iPhoneBrowser, iFunBox, etc., I have no access to it other than iRecovery.

    try this -
    1) Put in DFU mode
    2) irecovery -f ibss211.dfu
    3) iRecovery -s
    4) setenv auto-boot true (as one command)
    5) saveenv
    6) Put iPod back in DFU mode - RUN RS boot tools should now work fine.
