Before I continue don't put down a bunch of crap how I made another "White Icons" thread.

This is being put up because it started happening after I managed to fix this problem in my other thread.See it here:

    http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=303462&highlight=Enable+Multitasking+(Troubleshooting)

    Using this tutorial:http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=299003&highlight=Enable+Multitasking

So now I wonder is enabling the multitasking and wallpapers the cause?

Now my question is wth are these white icons even for?I'm not sure what they are so I hope you guys know what they are.

    Heres what they are:

    DemoApp
    AdSheet
    iPodOut
    WebSheet
    TrustMe

    Heres a screenshot..

So hope you guys can help me figure out another issue for me

I got it too, respringing gets rid of them. They're just different 'apps' that the OS uses when it needs to I think

They're apps that run in the background that help your iPod/iPhone run. you might remember the "demoapp" from 3.1.3, but as far as I know the other apps are new to ios4. Respringing or rebooting should make them go away.

    Sorry to barge in.
    1. I confirm this, also at times i lose my icon layout, they all go berserk. >.< But i just have to move one icon back and they all return to normal. Absolutely weird.

    2. I remember I tried launching DemoApp from Spotlight on 3.1.2, and it didn't work. Anyone know why?

I too have this problem. It mainly appears to occur after installing a new application through the iPod's App Store.

Well it happened right after I managed to edit the N72AP.plist file and adding multitasking and wallpapers.I respringed and it's gone now but it just seems a little bit weird...

Same here, its annoying. The only way to get rid of them is to either respring or install another app.

It doesn't annoy me and the thing is is that I just think it seems weird that something like that occurs very frequently to people.

    Maybe it's a bug...who knows really.
