Ok this exact thing happened to me, you should not need to restore.

    Ok here
    1. Plug your ipod into your computer.
    2. Hold the home button and it should boot to the springboard, if it does take your finger off the home button
    3. Then go into installer and uninstall it and you should be good.

This happened to me where you can touch on home but nothing else after that keep
trying by doing a hard reset home key and sleep button on top at same time to restart
eventually you will be able to activate the buttons on the screen after home and then disable
screenshot if i can find the post will post what another guy did to get his working

if push come to shove you wiil have o restore

Screenshot works fine as long as you follow two simple rules:

    1. Only turn it on when you want to take a screenshot (or several).
    2. Turn it off when you are done.

Granted, if an app crashes to the extent that it causes the whole unit to crash you may run into some difficulty, but on the whole, with well-behaved apps, I've never had a single problem with Screenshot following those two simple rules.
