I was synching my ipod, it was installing apps on to it. While synching I got the little spinning circle in the center (the one that comes up before respring) thne the circle stopped spinning and the ipod locked. Left it here for 15 min and nothing happened. I then rebooted the IPOD and now it does not boot. Locks at the apple screen. I am however able to SSH into it. Is there anything I can do to get it to boot short of restoring again?

    Yeah.
You can go to ~/Mobile/ and rename the Applications folder to "Applications2"

Then, wait 5 secs, ipod will start up, then rename it back to Applications and sync.
