Which processor is faster? Ipod touch 3g or Zune HD?

    ipod touch 3g's is faster(800mhz) but it is underclocked to 600mhz whereas zunehd is clocked at 633mhz

    because apple likes there devices to be assured as stable, if they increase the clock speed their is a higher chance of failure, by making the processor underclocked the device is assuredly stable

    Also think about the drain overclocking has on battery life as well as general system stabililty.

    As well as heat, this is a huge issue with overclocking these days : P.

    Personally I dont really see a need in having the CPU run at full speed, if apple test it and it runs every app out there flawlessly then we should be okay.

    Yeah I think the lprocessor speed is good enough but the main issue is the ram but good thing they updated to 256 mb.

    In terms of speed.
