I'm getting a new phone soon, and I'm having trouble deciding between the Blackberry and the Droid. I tested them both out today, and I'm still having a tough time. My girlfriend has the Ally and of course she's biased, so she is pushing me to get the Ally. Are there any perks to having Ally/Ally texting? I know Blackberry has BBM, so that's a major point, but is there any special thing you have if you both have Droids? Hopefully someone can give me pros/cons and help me make this decision. Thanks!

I would go with the Blackberry. I had one of the old curves for about 3 months and loved it. My dad has the Droid (not the ally), and I've just never been a fan of the Android operating system.

    I don't know, that's just my opinion.

Go for the Curve. If you could though, try to get a Aria

I'd go with the Droid, I've had the worst experiences with BB. I hate them so much, just give me so much problems. Everyone I know also has problems with them.

Well you have to test out both phones and see which is better in your hands I guess.

But, if you are focused on email, texting and don't need many apps get the blackberry.

Though, if you want a great browser and many apps plus get the droid for sure.

The droid is definitely more iPhone like while the blackberry is centered towards business.

Can you tell me why you aren't willing to spend a little more and get the Droid 2, Droid X, or the Droid Incredible? Because they all have the same data plan price.

Right. Or the blackberry bold or torch (both bb OS6 compatible).

Well, the two phones he's listed are on Verizon, and the Torch isn't.

Either way, I would definitely, 100% pay a little more and get the better phone, as opposed to two comparatively sub par phones.

Especially since you will have them for two years.
