which laptop to get?

    can any of you recommend a cheap laptop (about under £380) that is quick and has a lot of memory

    thanks that looks good, i dont know what the rats are how much is $550 in pounds, i'd be glad to take in any more suggestions

    I don't like Toshibas in that price range Tbh, too fugly for my liking, and usually low spec for the price. I recommend a HP Pavillion. Usually cheap, good memory and sometimes with Nvidia Graphics at that price. Or Dell, for large amounts of memory at low prices..

    its 329 pounds,

    but you want to add the next better proccessor, and maybe more ram.

    HPs come with a sh*t load of crap installed that are a pain to uninstall.

    DELLS are more for OFFICE use. i would not recommend those.

    So do a fresh install with recover disks. Anyway, HP are much better quality , sturdy and well built.

    You can get Dells made for home use. Cheap and powerful.

    dell XPS are for home/gaming use, but they are way overpriced, and they arent even that good. if you were gonna spend that much. get something from http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/
    lol but just get the freaking toshiba. ive been building computers locally for friends, desktops and laptops, and in that price range thats good.

    Forgetting Dell Studio/Inspiron? You really should learn your stuff before stating things, ikesmasher.
