    XXX OS X is the only Hackintosh build that I was able to alllmooost install. I messed up, due to picking the wrong kexts. The thing is, I don't know which ones to pick! All of them sound vague as hell, and there are so many!

    If I need to add a Kext, can someone please link me to it? (And tell me HOW to add them to the ISO? XD)

    Here's my specs:

    CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q660 (x64, 2.4GHz)
    GPU: NVidia GeForce 9500GT (1GB, PCI-E)
    RAM: 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM 800MHz
    NETWORK: Linksys RangePlus Wireless G/N Card WMP110 (PCI)
    CD DRIVE: PLDS DVD+ -RW DH-16A6S ATA Device
    HARD DRIVE: WDC WD5000AAKS-75A7B0 ATA Device
    MONITOR: Dell E207WFP (1680x1050)
    MOTHERBOARD ID: 64-0100-009999-00101111-092608-Eaglelake$1ADXP005_BIOS DATE: 09/26/08 15:21:57 VER: 0.0.1
    MOTHERBOARD/COMPUTER NAME: Dell Studio 540

    * iPC 10.5.6 Universal Final
    * Kernel: 9.5.0 voodoo
    * Chipset: LegacyAppleIntelPIIATA
    * Audio: Azalia Audio Package
    * CPUS=1 boot flag fix
    * LAN: Realtek R1000 Driver

    You will need to do a "CPUS=1" boot flag in order to boot the install disk depending on which processor you have.

    This computer had a Nvidia 9500 GT Graphics card, not the built in video. I am not sure what is needed for the built-in video chipset.

    I assume stuff like the CD Drive, Monitor, Speakers, and Mouse/Keyboard will just simply work?

    Also, the LAN driver will make my WiFi card work, right?

    Also, what do I do about partitions? I know how to make one in Windows, but I messed up the last time and saved over my Windows partition. How should I set up my Mac partition?

    Use Windows partition tool if you can make one big enough for your needs. If not I defragmented my Vista first, then used a Gparted LiveCD and then created a partition as unallocated. Then when your installing use Apples Disk Utility and format the correct partition to Extended Journaled.

    I can make a partition in Windows 7. Now, do I NAME the partition in Windows, or should I name it before/after I set it to Extended Journal?

    You can name it like Mac or something in Win 7, to remember what is the partition you want to over write, but your going to have to rename it again in Disk Utility.

    Sweet. Also, since I know that once you install OS X, the computer boots into it automatically. In Gparted, how would I set my Windows partition as the primary one?

    You can use the Windows boot loader if thats what your meaning. And I've had my osx86 pick up on my other OSes before and add it to its own bootloader. Look into EasyBCD if you want to use Windows bootloader. Though idk if it will work with 7, but I know it works with Vista.
