I un-JB my iPod a month ago because on warranty issues, along with the fact that my iPod was a lot slower and the battery lasted a shorter amount of time.

I am; however, missing my JB iPod. So I want to know what 'staple' JBen apps are the ones that drain the battery and slow the device a lot. I know for a fact that Winterboard is one of them. Are all Mobile Substrate add-ons 'hog' apps?

Here's a list of the apps I am going to get. Which of these will significantly slow my iPod?

    • SB Settings
    • Proswitcher
    • Backgrounder
    • Safari Download Plugin (the paid one)
    • YouTube Download plugin
    • iFile
    • Lockdown

And will having all of these on my iPod at once slow my iPod and decrease battery life?

I don't think any of those will slow it down but if you get Sbsettings and I believe you will get OpenSSH, always turn It off in SBsettings otherwise it drains battery life!

proswitcher, and backgrounder will drain alot of battery. Use kirkae instead of proswitcher, kirkae was made by the same person who made backgrounder so they are perfect with each other.
