    Hi,
I have recently purchased an iphone 3Gs and wondering which jailbreaking method I should use. Wondered if someone could help? As I see it I have 3 options, but there maybe more...

    1. Blackra1n
    2. resn0w
    3. Pwnage

I have used blackra1n and ran into a few problems. But not sure how it compares to the others. Quite like the Pwnage setup, up to now. How does this compare?

Sorry if this has been asked a million times before. Thanks,
    Paul.

    Blackra1n is the simplest.
Redsn0w has more stuff to it such as custom boot logos.
Pwnage is for Mac only and is like redsn0w but only supports some devices as well.

You might not even be able to jailbreak it with anything until a few days, depending on what FW you're running.

Don't use blackra1n. Simplicity is not that big of deal. If you can't jailbreak it with redsn0w I'm not sure you can even use Cydia. Redsn0w is far more dependable.

Redsn0w is much more reliable. It has the AFC thingy, ability to use a custom boot logo, and some other things. Only problem is, is that it doesn't have blacksn0w, the unlock utility only on Blackra1n.

If you have 3.1.3 stock, you will have to wait for spirit.

As said above if your 3.1.3 you have to wait for spirit, but if the other tools are updated use redsn0w, there's less conflicts
