I am new to the Apple world, and used different MP3 players with Rockbox operating systems installed. I am looking for my iTouch to play my tunes, with a little bit of overlapping. In other words, I would like for the tunes to play with no silence in between. Is there an app that can do that?

    TIA.

    Yes I mean crossfading....

I am a professional DJ, and would like to use my new iTouch during c*cktail hours, and/or dinner hour. I need it to play music continuously without any gaps between songs. I will look into itunes, although I do not like to use it.

make a playlist in iTunes containing songs u want to play in loop
    sync iPod
    open music player app (default)
    go to playlists tab
    select the saved playlist
    select "shuffle"
tap the screen once to bring up the track seek
make sure the blue arrow is set to number "1" (no repeating of songs, looping of list)
Now, all your songs in your playlist will keep repeating until you tell it to stop

I don't think you have understood him correctly.

If i am correct then what you must do is:

Go into iTunes and goto "Edit --> Prefrences --> Playback Tab"

Check the "Crossfade Songs:" checkbox and set how long you want it to take before it crossfades!

    Hope this helps
Oh yer, you will have to resync your iPod too!
