which is iphone audio driver file?

    which is iphone audio driver file?
    why i can't find /dev/dsp, /dev/mixer...files in iphone?
    does iphone use oss or alsa audio driver?
    how can i control iphone audio device,so that I can control how the sound output,such as sound output via speaker,even earphone is plug in.

    1. Using /dev/* is a NO-NO in the iPhone SDK.
    2. For low level audio access, check out AudioToolbox (and/or CoreAudio?)
    3. If you just want to play sound files use AVAudioPlayer, Apple's recommended way of playing "non-special" sounds.

    why can't use /dev/* ?? my device has jailbroken .
    All I want is :get audio data from the dock connector pin 5&6,I use AudioQueue to record vioce but got nothing,

    Sorry! I didn't know you were developing for jailbroken devices.
    You still can't access /dev though (at least most of it) since iPhone apps usually run under mobile, and you need root right.
    I'm afraid I can't help you with your other question, since I'm not really experienced with low-level audio, etc.

    ALSA is for Linux, it wouldn't be that one.
    iPhone OS is just slimmed down of OS X which based on BSD.

    I believe it uses Core Audio.
