Hey guys I have a 16gb iPhone but am not too happy that my I can't fit my entire library into it.

So I have a few options:
    1. Get an iPod Nano 16gb
    2. Get a 120gb classic
    3. save up for the new upcoming iPhone

The 120GB Classic is probably your best bet at this moment.

It's really an amazing device; I don't own one, but I know a few people who do. $279

Option 4: Start using and managing playlists carefully based on songs you actually listen to based on the average amount of plays.

Since your 3G doesn't have enough space (apparently) no point getting Nano, since it has the same storage space as the 3G (Not 8GB)

And never get a Portable Media player with a Hard Disk Drive. Always go solid state for those.

    1. what tes. said

    2. If you what more space, go with 120 Gb ipod Classic, nano is still 16 gb, it won't give you any more space, unless you split your songs up between the 2, which is very inconvenient.

Then be selective... you don't need 4 months of continuous music in your pocket (c.f. the 120GB classic) unless you're going off to work on an oil rig or something. Anyway the classic still uses a HD which is prone to failure at some point in the future, and buying another 16GB device is a waste of cash...

So the only logical choice is to save up for the new iPhone.

edit/ how amusing - I spent too long writing that and Tes has answered with exactly the same thing.. great minds and all that!

That's only if your not careful with it or plan on exercising with it. I've had a 60 GB 5G since it came out and it still works fine.

I think you should go with the classic because, all your music won't fit on a 16 GB Nano either (it's the same size as your iPhone). And, I don't think the iPhone is going to have that many more features than the current one with the software update.
