    But still, the iPhone 4 isn't that old. Just 1 generation behind. I understand the 3GS not having these features, but the iPhone 4 should have them.

    It's because the sell point of the iPhone 4s is SIRI. They won't allow SIRI onto the iPhone 4 through one of the iOS versions.
