I am currently running FW 1.1.4, noticably I have not upgraded my ipod in a while. Everything was perfect on 1.1.1, but then my itouch froze and I lost all of my data. I upgraded to 1.1.4 but I could not get the exact same, perfect jailbreak that I used to have.

I was just wondering what would be the best, most stable, and app supportable FW to update to now. I've noticed that there are a few different ones available right now. Any comments and help are greatly appreciated.

I am really happy with 2.2, no bother to update to 2.2.1

But it's easy for him, he would just upgrade to 2.2.1, he's on 1.1.4 now!!
Why would he go for 2.2 then??

Are 2.2 and 2.2.1 very compatible with jailbroken apps? That is my main concern, I am about to upgrade now though so any quick response would be nice.

    2.2.1!!
And yes Cydia is very very much smoother since its beta release. You have to wait a little bit for it to refresh but it installs things very fast and smoothly.
