Does anyone have any suggestions on a good ebook compiler/reader combo for my jailbroken iPT 3G?

I want to be able to compile my own books - ex txt or htm mostly.

Also have no wifi so have been adding files (to other (limited) reader apps) directly to root.

Stanza seems pretty limited on compiling.

    Others???

Are we talking "iBooks By Apple Inc"? This is what comes up in google for "ipod touch ibook"

If so, tis not available in the Australian story.!

It seems to appear in relation to "Classics By Andrew Kaz & Phill Ryu" ?? or is that just because of having too many 10010001000100 for breakfast :?

Calibre looks like a wonderful compiler - downloaded but yet to test. I suspect it will do the trick.

The missing piece is an ereader that can read the output. I have had some good results with GoodReader (txt, pdf, htm) but would like the functionality of an ebook reader.

    [edit]
Tried calibre but can't seem to get files from Stanza. ip OK - port OK??
But this is outside this forum.

    SO0o - still looking.

I use the Stanza reader (get from itunes) and Stanza Desktop epub maker (get from Stanza website - http://www.lexcycle.com/). Both free of course.

I just type and save .txt files then open them in Stanza Desktop.. then open Stanza on my iPod touch and download over wifi.. no brainer

    alts

iSilo is so far the leader. A bit pricey but a good compiler/reader combo. Great recent/categories/favourites tag system. Very configurable tap action config.

I am still not 100% convinced so am open to any other suggestions.
