i've just ordered a Speck Candyshell in white. should be here on tuesday. i've only tried the slider though. i think my vote would have to go to candyshell, heard lots of good stuff about it. the only bad thing i've heard is that the plastic on the small plastic piece is easily breakable and its hard to take off

Isn't the switcheasy colors only a silicone case? I was looking more into hard cases.

ya, but its a special coated one to feel soft but not rubbery and repel lint and not stick to your pocket

That also rules out the RebelTouch, which is a silicone case (well, ADTP plastic, which is silicone-like) with a plastic 'spine' that covers the top edge of the iPod. The Candyshell also isn't strictly a hard case - more like a skin case with a plastic coating.
