    Screwed up my downloads folder

Using iPhoneBrowser I transfered some music I had downloaded in Safari and dTunes.

After transfering the files I wanted to delete them off the iPod Touch.

I got sick of confirming each deleted file, so I decided it would be easier just to delete the folder, and then create it again.

Now that I have created it again, both dTunes and Safari give me the following error when I try to download:

Download failed. Could not start saving file.

    I have a G1 Touch 16gb with jailbreaked firmware 2.2

I tried reinstalling the safari downloader app, and the dTunes app. I didn't uninstall them first, but re-installing did not fix it.

Can I recreate the folder so that it will be recognized, or do I need to run the jailbreak again? Will that erase all the non-itunes apps I have installed?

Thanks! Jailbreak is awesome, wish I hadn't messed it up already

    Fixed it!

I went into application Finder navigated to the downloads folder, and changed the attributes so that it can be written to by owner, group, and everyone.

Will any of those setting cause any other problems?
