I just watched it and really loved it. It really tells the story of a child's imagination well and makes me nostalgia a little bit because of course we should have all had a childhood imagination at some point. I really like the look of the wild things. The whole time I felt like I was inside the kids head wile he imagined these awesome things. Would watch it again.

    I hated it.

It scared the living hell out of my 3 year old.

IMO, they ruined a classic childrens book.

I was actually disappointed by it. I thought that it was too dark.

They also should have followed the book more. The forest growing in his room was my favorite part, and I didn't like that they changed it in the movie.

What I didn't like was Watchmen the movie. I mean, it was alright, except when the [SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS]attack on New York was like a release of Jon's energy, I think they should have stuck with the book and done the alien invasion.[/SPOILERS] It would have looked epic and would have followed the storyline much better.

I remember reading this book when I was younger, though I don't remember what it was about. I'll just wait for the movie to come on DVD to refresh my memory
