Where is the .ipsw???

    okay this is getting really frustrating.......i've downloaded the 1.1.4 file from one of the threads on here but when i download it i just get this folder called "iPod1,1_1", and when i open it up no .ipsw file is in there or anything. It's just a bunch of random folders with nothing close to the actual firmware in it. any help would be very much appreciated......thanks

    i've tried there but i still got that same folder with nothing in it

    p.s. i wouldnt post that link if i were you

    in your broswer setting turn off auto extraction. Then edit the extension from .zip and change to .ipsw or whatever it is.

    once it unzips IT IS CORRUPT! you have to download a fresh copy.
