It says you can get a five icon dock in the ipod touch reference guide using customize.
I wrote that guide, and I'm making a correction on that.
Firmware 1.1.1/1.1.2: Customize.
Firmware 1.1.3/1.1.4: Kate/Caterpillar, although it's trial. There is a cracked version though, I've heard.
what FW are you on? its only for 1.1.1/2 unless you use kate for 1.1.3/4
I'm going to edit the reference, I mean't to correct that.
Which part of the reference did you find this?
i thought so...
Why doesn't somebody make an app to do the five icon thing?
The kate people are bastards!
"SpringBoard" is the home screen of your iPod touch, displaying all the icons for your iPod touch's applications. The SpringBoard features a maximum of 16 icons per screen, with 4 icons that stay on the dock. With Customize, the dock can be increased to 5 applications or even further. With the addition of wiggly icons in 1.1.3, icons can be rearranged by dragging them, and to create a new screen/page of icons, simply drag an icon to the top right.
it is on the third reference page
yeah they are lol
but develpoing kate was hard since its a whole new springboard app
I guess... I was too late to catch any of the crack threads... Please Register or Log in to view images
