Where is IPSW saved?

    When iTunes downloads a upgrade, where does it save to?

    idk the location but just search .ipsw on your computer

    ok it is in c:/users/(ur username)/appdata/roaming/applecomputer/itunes/ipod software updates
    thats on my vista on xp it is appdata under apple computer someware and u have to show hiddin folders if u havent and dont know how use google.

    unhide

    In windows explorer(not internet)
    Tools > Folder Options

    in folder types
    >veiw
    then like the 9 one down is Hidden files and folder and check the one u want

    on xp
    C:\Documents and Settings\Owner(whateveruseruare)\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes then whatever u want in there
