Ok, so I just bought the 3.0 update and was wondering where it saves to so I can jailbreak. Or would I have to download?

redsn0w will probably find it automatically as it did with PwnageTool.

    Not 100% sure though.

type %appdata% into run(if your on XP) or search(if your on vista) start menu.

your roaming folder will come up, goto:

    Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

full folder path looks like this:

    C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

Now I'm having problems with the jailbreak. The program says done and I should be jailbroken but on my iPod is a blank screen.

If you're not getting any response from your iPod, DFU and restore then try again.
